The village elders greeted us (and took our money - $20 each!) then demonstrated how to make fire by rolling a stick in the hole of a piece of wood. We were told that donkey dung is used as tinder: it's apparently "all it's good for!" After that, Duncan was encouraged to 'have a go'.
