Birds of PreyThe Samburu complex has a wide variety of birds, including many species of raptors. On the left, there is a Verreaux's Eagle Owl Chick, showing the diagnostic feature of that species, the pink eyelids, which are kept into adulthood.Below left, there is an Egyptian Vulture with a young Lappet-faced Vulture - the Little and Large of East African Vultures. Below right is a young Martial Eagle. At the bottom of the page are two pictures of Eastern Pale Chanting Goshawk.
