Our trip was from 3rd - 24th July 2002, and our itinerary was as follows:
We had a fantastic trip - thanks to Ibrahim and Jimmy, our driver-guides, and to Catherine from Worldwide Journeys and Expeditions in London, and Sophie from Express Travel Group in Nairobi.

The 'rushes' pages (starting here) show some of the photos Duncan took with his Fuji Finepix 2800 zoom digicam on this trip. He just bought it at Heathrow when we had a big sit-over waiting for our international flight.

Jimmy This is our Kamba driver-guide, Jimmy, who accompanied us on most of our trip, except for Amboseli. This is our third safari together, so he is used to our unusual little foibles, exemplified by our new motto, "A digging mole-rat is better than a sleeping lion." He assures us that this is not a viewpoint shared by most of his clients!
This Bohor Reedbuck was standing right in the swamp at Amboseli, waiting for his mate, giving us time for nice observation of it. I have only seen this species once before, at Ruma NP, but at a fair distance, and Duncan saw one very briefly in the waterhole at Keekorok on our first trip. bohor reedbuck
.Loldia House, Lake Naivasha We stayed for two nights at Loldia House on Lake Naivasha. This was very luxurious - we were pampered to perfection. Activities included birding, boating, riding, visiting the local school, visiting Crater Lake sanctuary etc.
