We stayed at Delamere's Camp on Lake Elmenteita in 1997, after a matatu-ride, but that's another story!
We arrived very late for lunch, and our meal was made rather stressful by a huge swarm of bees. However, we didn't see them again.
Delamere Camp offers an all-inclusive package, including guided nature walks, sunset barbecues and night game drives. We really enjoyed the night drives, but be warned - it can be cold, though they provide a blanket.

Something we didn't do (because we didn't know about it) is that you can book to stay in a simple tree-house all night with an askari. This overlooks a small waterhole. You get dropped off on the way back from the night game drive and picked up again in the morning before breakfast. I would definitely try for this next time!
Delamere Camp is nicely situated for an afternoon trip to Lake Nakuru NP, which is especially attractive if you are spending more than one night at the Camp. However, many visitors seemed to be on one-night trips from Nairobi.
