African Dusky Flycatcher

Muscicapa adusta interposita

This plump flycatcher is common in the Kenya highlands. I photographed this confiding individual in the grounds of Naro Moru River Lodge, on Mt Kenya. This sub-species is also found south to the Masai Mara and the Serengeti in Tanzania. Another sub-species, murina, is found further south and east in Tanzania.
