This Southern Masked Weaver male, in full breeding plumage, was busy building his nest in the car park of the Strand Hotel, where we were staying. I don't know how common nst-building is in Swakop in July, but when I was at Okonjima, the Southern Masked Weavers were all in winter plumage. |
