The 'Moon Landscape' is easily reached, inland of Swakopmund, and can be combined in a round trip with Welwitschia Drive. You need to get a permit from the Tourist Office in Swakopmund to visit the Moon Landscape, but it is accessible and signed from the main B2 road from Swakop to Windhoek. |

The moonscape is a totally barren, undulating, rocky desert which was formed by the valleys of the Swakop river. |
